Deep peace
While I sincerely wish everyone a peaceful winter holiday, I am aware that may feel like a very tall order. It can be hard not to get caught in one or other of the crosscurrents of end-of-year exhaustion, anticipation overwhelm (especially for children and neurodiverse people) or isolation that this time can bring.
If you, your child, another family member or a close friend are feeling frazzled or overwhelmed, I'm here to help. I have two more days of practice before I close for the winter break: Wednesday 18 December in Lewes and Friday 20 December in Bethnal Green.
Whatever the difficulty/pain, craniosacral therapy can help you become grounded and resourced on the level of the body. While this doesn't make external troubles disappear, downregulating the nervous system does literally shift the way we see and feel and can alter our experience of the world significantly. A little well informed co-regulation and skillful therapeutic touch can go a long way.
